InnoVirtuoso.com is a year old. Stats and update
Hello everyone who has visited this site. Today I’m creating a blog post in order to see all the stats which I’ve managed to achieve this being a hobby for 1 year. My Tech News Website InnoVirtuoso.com 🙂
Me having a full time job, and this website being a non profit hobby of some sorts it’s fun and exciting to see what I’ve gotten it in the past year, with no marketing, no advertising dollars, not reaching for stars.
Social Media Platforms
Twitter (X as of now)
I’ll be honest, I was very active on twitter, reposting my new blog posts and barely interacting with people. So it’s at some low 51 followers from some depths of the internet. And I appreciate every single one of them.
Threads
As I was much more active on threads, I’ve gained more followers there, some also came from instagram. I enjoy that platform more then twitter for some reason, but I do lack experience in twitter, it has been there for a long time, but I never showed much interest in interacting on twitter as opposed to threads when it was fresh and new and exciting.
At the very start I was trying to grind instagram, following unfollowing, interacting, asking for feedback on my page, etc. But I have stopped doing such things and my follower count stagnated. I feel like there is no organic interactions on Instagram, if you hit big and get yourself on for you page. That’s the only visibility you can have in an organic way. Other then that, You can play Zuckerberg, and Meta to promote your posts in hopes of getting some new followers, so I repost some news, my blog posts with a visual, but don’t use Instagram much.
This gives me a little chuckle, I was posting same stuff on Facebook as on Instagram via their Business Suite but I wasn’t able to get any organic traction going on Facebook, I didn’t put any effort in it as well.
This is funny, I have been getting quite a lot of monthy views on pinterest, but no follows. They have dialed down a little bit as of now. But as I keep on posting maybe search engine will pick some of my pictures up again and I get some clicks to my website.
Website Statistics
Google Search Console
A whopping 578 clicks for all mighty Google in a year. Even tho I wasn’t really focusing heavily on SEO and making my pages rank to the best of my abilities. I’ve managed to get some clicks and have some pages around search results where they are not at the very bottom.
Google Analytics
To my count this is around 2-3k in users traffic. Which is not much but as I’ve mentioned I’m somewhat happy with the results and I’ll try to see where the future gets me.
Conclusion
I’ve spend quite a lot of time on this website when you think about it, and some may see there results as not enough, I wasn’t focused enough or didn’t put enough effort in. But this website is for me to unwind, and build something that I like. So I don’t expect to make quick money from it or anything.
My biggest concern is that you might find any of the articles posted on this page useful, helpful, insightful or funny or whatever.
Also, I would love to find likeminded people to talk and connect with, so comment section is always open for discussion.
